Codabar barcode symbology is used in shipping industry, blood bank and libraries. Codabar encodes numeric-only data and it has four start/stop characters. Start/stop characters are mapped to A, B, C and D.
Codabar is a self-checking barcode symbology and does NOT need check digit.
It's quite easy to encode codabar barcode. Just bracket your data between start character and stop character, then apply one of the codabar fonts in the package, codabar barcode will appear.
There are 14 codabar barcode fonts contained in the package as listed below, marked by different trailing indicators. Barcodesoft codabar fonts vary in aspect ratios. Those Codabar fonts with Hr in name have human readable text underneath Codabar barcode.
Barcodesoft Codabar Demo is fully functional except for the "Demo" watermark.
Barcodesoft Codabar fonts are available in true type, PostScript and PCL formats and can be embedded into Adobe PDF files.
